Launch into a new universe of gravity warping worlds in the sequel to one of the greatest games of all time! Yoshi joins Mario as they traverse a wild variety of galaxies exploding with imagination, helping out our hero as he gulps enemies, runs at super speed, or inflates like a blimp to reach high cliff tops. Whether Mario’s leaping into orbit around tiny micro-planets, tumbling through rooms with constantly flip-flopping gravity, or drilling through craggy worlds to emerge on the other side, he’ll need new abilities and serious jumping skills to survive the all-new challenges ahead!

Super Mario Galaxy 2 is an action platformer for Wii that continues the space-based fun begun by the 2007 runaway hit Super Mario Galaxy. Featuring out-of-this-world platforming across a wide array of unique planets and space environments, players can go it alone as Mario or team up with his old buddy Yoshi as they platform and puzzle-solve to their hearts content. Additional key features include new and returning power-ups, special power-up abilities when teamed with Yoshi and the new drill mechanic that allows Mario burrow into and through planets. .caption { font-family: Verdana, Helvetica neue, Arial, serif; font-size: 10px; font-weight: bold; font-style: italic; } ul.indent { list-style: inside disc; text-indent: -15px; } table.callout { font-family: verdana; font-size: 11px; line-height: 1. 3em; } td.vgoverview { height: 125px; background: #9DC4D8 url(http://images.amazon.com/images/G/01/electronics/detail-page/callout-bg.png) repeat-x; border-left: 1px solid #999999; border-right: 1px solid #999999; padding-left: 20px; padding-right: 20px; padding-bottom: 10px; width: 250px; font-family: verdana; font-size: 12px; } Team up with Yoshi for space-based platforming fun in Super Mario Galaxy 2. View larger. New Out-of-this-world Adventure Like its predecessor, Super Mario Galaxy 2 is an action platformer set in space. Platforming takes place between worlds, known as galaxies. Mario can move between smaller examples of these by jumping. He can also embark on longer jaunts via a small steerable planet in the shape of Mario's head, but as a new twist he can also move into and through planets as well using the new drill mechanism. This allows for both a new direction in action as well as an opening to problem-solving and coin collection. Players can expect the return of a variety of powerups from the original game including Bee and Boo Mushrooms, but also many that are new varieties including the Rock Mushroom that temporarily turns Mario into a rock that can smash through barriers. Another key change to gameplay is the ability for Mario to join with his pal Yoshi. Once Mario hatches Yoshi from his egg he can ride him through a variety of scenarios. Yoshi's particular reaction to specific powerups makes for fun with gravity. For example, when Yoshi eats a "Dash Pepper" he is able to move at hyper speed allowing the pair to literally run up the side of walls. Also, after eating a Blimp Fruit power-up Yoshi can swells up and floats like a blimp, taking Mario with him to areas of the game otherwise unreachable. Key Game Features Mario collects stars as he travels from galaxy to galaxy. Every level is new, but the game retains the charm, sense of wonder and beauty in line with Mario's history. Mario works his way through the various levels, sometimes upside-down, sometimes floating from place to place. On some stages, Mario can find an egg, smash it open and hop onto the back of Yoshi. Yoshi can use his tongue to grab items and shoot them back at enemies, or to snag attach points and swing across chasms. Yoshi has an interesting diet. When he eats a Dash Pepper, he gets so hot and frenzied he can run up steep inclines and vertical walls. When he eats a Blimp Fruit, he inflates like a balloon and floats to new heights. New powerups include a drill that Mario uses to tunnel through the planet's surface all the way to the other side of a planet. Skilled players will want to collect new Comet Metals, which will unlock harder levels with even more challenges. Additional Screenshots: Even better platforming fun. View larger. Mario is still the King of Games!

by Brandon from Ridgeview on 2010-08-31
I never in a million years thought this game would be as good as it is! I loved Galaxy 1 and o me Galaxy 1 is still a better game than Galaxy 2, but this game is still amazing and one of the best games I have ever played. Galaxy 2 does everything for the most part perfect. The return of Yoshi is by far my favorite thing about this game, and Nintendo treated Yoshi very good in this game. Each Galaxy is different and fun in it's own way. Bowser looks amazing in this game, but I think the Bowser battles in Galaxy 1 are better than the battle in this game. The music is great in this game but once again I think galaxy 1 had better music. Galaxy 2 is a great game though and is probably my 2nd or 3rd favorite game of all time. I have played video games for over 20 years and this is near the very top of my list. Mario Galaxy 2 puts the crown back on Mario's head as the ultimate king of games, and shows everyone that the hero in a game does not need a gun to be the best around. Mario Galaxy 2 is an amazing game that has 242 stars to collect in all and will challenge you more than any other 3D Mario game. If you own a Wii and are a Mario fan you owe it to yourself to buy this game. Have a great day everyone.

SMG 2

by Yazzle from on 2010-08-30
The first SMG (Super Mario Galaxy) deserves to be ranked as ONE OF the top games for any platform, IMHO. SMG 2 had a hard task in front of it. Besting one of the top games of all time? Overall, I think they did it. They kept the same play and creativity, and added some new features to an already rich game. My favorite addon is the 2nd player features. It really allows your buddy to help you out. If I had to find a downside (and I'm really looking hard here) - it's that it seemed easier to me (although many people mentioned it was harder) - It seems shorter than SMG, although it's still perfectly long enough. This game should get 100/100 + some points for extra credit, but the best I can give it here is a 5 star rating.

fun and different - multiplayer is OK but not the best

by Nathan R. Barry from on 2010-08-24
This game is a lot of fun and has some different controls than I am used to in traditional mario games - I never played the first one so it might be similar. The only thing I dont like is that player two gets a bit of a raw deal. I was thinking multiplayer would be more equal (like the super mario brothers for wii). Nate

Little Bobby Loves Mario Galaxy 2

by Robert E. Matysiak from Maricopa, AZ on 2010-08-24
I bought the Super Mario Galaxy 2 game for my four year old grandson's birthday because he liked another Mario Wii game so much. Although the game is very eye appealing, Little Bobby found Galaxy 2 a bit more challenging at the beginning, which made me nervous. However, as he gets more familiar with it, he loves the game and goes into great detail about the challenges he is having on the various planets. He does not appear to be frustrated with defeats...and he relishes his conquests. His five year old cousin Chase even enjoys being an advisor to LB as he plays the game. I am extremely satisfied with this game. Each planet is different enough in look and feel to provide interest for any age level. It can be tough to beat if you're not a gamer geek, but the beauty of the game and it's addictive nature keeps you playing while you get the experience to come up to speed. Although two people can play the game, it really seems designed for one, in my opinion. This is a two handed game, requiring that you connect the numchuck (sic?). LB had no problem mastering the two handed requirement, although he seems to be a natural with the WII (he holds his own in bowling and tennis). I highly recommend this game...whether you have kids or not.

Takes me back!

by R. Hermanson from FL on 2010-08-22
I bought this game for my son after playing super mario galaxy, we had to have the second edition! It reminds me so much of my first Nintendo-back in the late 80's! The music is almost the same and the ghost world too!.. but it's so much more challenging! We have a family challenge going on right now. This is a great game that you won't lose interest in!

Mario has plentiful power-ups along the way including Cloud Mario, Rock Mario, Fire Mario, and more! Along the way, they run into a couple friends that help Mario defeat Bowser. Yoshi makes his appearance in a few levels offering the power  to jump twice as high, his power to eat enemies, and his offering of separate power-ups.

This top Wii game is the next version from Super Mario Galaxy, which was also a lot of fun.  While it might seem to be designed mostly as Wii games for boys, the graphics and play is fun for girls too.  It's rated E for Everyone and other than some minor cartoon violence (like jumping on a Goomba's head) it is actually fun for any age an is even one of the top Wii games for families. It's fairly difficult to play some levels though, so under age 7 might get a bit frustrated.

Free Wii Points Is A Scam

Getting Wii points lets you buy Wii Ware games on the Wii Channel, and prices range from a couple dollars to $20 or so for most of the Wii games online. To purchase, you have to purchase a Wii Points card at your favorite game retailer, or purchase Wii Points online using a credit card.

If you search for free Wii points you will usually get directed to either pages and pages of advertising, or you'll get to pages that want you to complete surveys to get free Wii points. The survey thing is a scam, since you really can't complete enough surveys to ever qualify, and you will also likely have to get other people to sign up. You are wasting your time to try to get free Wii points this way! Instead, you would be better off just doing something else to make some extra money and buy Wii points, like sell used video games.

Here's a really easy way to get basically free Wii points: Round up all the games you don't play any more and that you can sell. Go to Amazon, where you can trade in your video games. Amazon makes it super easy to trade in your games. When you do, you get an Amazon gift card for the amount of the trade in.

Once you have your gift card, you can then use it to purchase Wii Points cards from Amazon. Be sure to buy from a reseller listed on the page, because you can actually get a 2000 points card for a discount off the usual $20. Check prices and you can find a deal.

Voila - you just got a free Wii points card - without spending any cash out of your own pocket!

With MotionPlus at the head, Resort is an entertaining and remarkably precise collection of sports games.

by TissueShoe from on 2010-08-13
The Wii is the object of insult more often than it ought to be in this generation, because people see the console's games that sell well and simply laugh. Mediocre minigame collections and unpolished 'family-friendly games' make it to the top sales charts so frequently, while quality titles such as Zack & Wiki and Okami don't get the attention they deserve. Wii Sports Resort ought to gather that same sort of ridicule, but while Nintendo may be a little lazy and big on quick cash-ins this generation, Wii Sports Resort doesn't fall prey to what kills those other minigame collections by utilizing the remarkably accurate Wii MotionPlus accessory and providing more of the simple fun that made the original Wii Sports so special, only in a bigger, better form. Wii Sports Resort is essentially a collection of sports-themed minigames, much like its predecessor, however the offering is much more plentiful and diverse this time around. There are twelve sports offered and each has at least two types of games available to play, so even within each sport there's a bit of diversity. For example, within Swordplay (one of the game's fortes) there is a Duel mode where players try to knock each other off a platform, Showdown mode which pits gamers against a horde or other Miis, and a Speed Slice mode which is a competition to cut an object in a particular way as quick as possible as a test of reflexes. The numbers and diversity is refreshing and enhances the game's overall value significantly. Each and every game in Wii Sports Resort makes use of the new Wii MotionPlus accessory, which comes packed in with the game. This is Wii Sports Resort's main draw: without it, the game would have been pointless. MotionPlus is a remarkable little piece of hardware that attaches to the bottom of the Wii remote and significantly enhances the accuracy of the game's motion controls. MotionPlus brings motion controls one step closer to being 1:1 with real life, which is especially evident in games like table tennis, which almost perfectly mimics your hand's motions, and archery, in which the remote becomes a bow that is aimed not by pointing at the screen, but by actually holding the remote like a bow. Other games such as basketball and air sports would have been complete duds without the MotionPlus accessory, but with it they are strong, solid minigames. Resort has a number of highlights, and I think it's only fair to mention a few of them in detail. Archery features some of the best control design by making the player hold the remote and aim it just like a bow, then using the nunchuk to draw the arrow and fire. It is remarkably accurate and goes much deeper than any shooting game that merely involves pointing at the screen. Table tennis (my personal favorite) is remarkably accurate in its translation of players' movements by allowing the player to put topspin or back spin on the ball. Frisbee is also very accurate, though sometimes a little frustrating. Despite the more memorable moments there are also several forgettable games as well, namely the predictably bad games of Canoeing and Cycling. Despite all the simple fun Wii Sports Resort offers, it gets old pretty quickly if one tries to go it alone for a long time. Collecting some of the game's stamps (achievements) adds a lot of solid bonus objectives, and achieving pro status can also be rewarding, but other than that the game runs itself dry on single player. The game was designed for multiplayer, and it sure offers plenty of fun in that area. Resort is a great game to pull out and play with a friend or family member, and whether or not they are a gamer doesn't matter much seeing as it's easy to pick up and play right off the bat. The only disadvantage is that to play multiplayer, an extra MotionPlus accessory is required. Some minigames that involve taking turns, such as bowling and archery, do allow for trading off one remote between up to four players, which is great for those who don't want to lay down another $10-$20 on accessories for their Wii. Presentation-wise, Resort has little to show and little to complain about. The menus are laid out very nicely, and transitioning between games is a breeze. The graphics are pretty colorful, but they look far too simplistic to appear vibrant or to even stand out. The sound design is equally simplistic, but the effects do a satisfactory job in conveying the actions they represent. So despite the sheer simplicity and lack of anything remotely impressive, Resort's presentation isn't worth complaining about because for a game that's designed around such fun and accurate gameplay, it just doesn't matter unless you play games for graphics only. If that's the case then you bought the wrong console. In the end, Wii Sports Resort is really all about the remarkably accurate and entertaining experience with MotionPlus. Much like the original Wii Sports was basically a demo of the Wii, Resort is a demo for MotionPlus, but it goes much farther than its predecessor did by being bigger, better, and just a little deeper. If you are a casual gamer and you have a Wii or are just looking for a solid and fun multiplayer experience, then be sure to buy this game in the near future. If you're a hardcore gamer you should appreciate everything MotionPlus does for the game and still be entertained by the simple but highly entertaining gameplay. Positive: + Ample and diverse set of games + Simple, accessible, and entertaining all around + MotionPlus greatly enhances the game as a whole + Solid multiplayer for all games Negative: - Several forgettable minigames - Lasting appeal is minimal with only one player 7.8/10

A great demonstration of this would be in the new addition to the game, swordplay. In a duel, you are standing on a pillar with a round platform. The object of the game is to knock the opponent off with your sword (don't worry, the swords aren't metal, the game is rated E for everyone). In the game, you can move or block with the sword any way you want, and block any way you want. It isn't the simple down slice, side slice rule, as most battle games are.

Another thing that I think is truly amazing is archery. You really have to be steady for this one, but anyone can play. The first time you try it, you just try shooting strait. It will probably work. The second time, not so much. Gravity and wind can interfere, but I guarantee, you'll become a pro in no time!

Other games include Frisbee, golf, table tennis, basketball, and many more! With 12 whole games, each with different modes, no wonder this is my favorite game. It's a perfect family or solo game for anyone! I love it, and I know you will too!

A Little Box With Plenty of Power As with every console, much of the buzz about the Wii revolves around its specs. The Wii boasts 512 MB of internal flash memory, two USB 2.0 ports, and a slot for SD memory expansion. The system’s technological heart -- a processing chip developed with IBM and code-named "Broadway" and a graphics chipset from ATI code-named "Hollywood" -- deliver stunning performance. And instead of a tray, Wii uses a single, self-loading media bay that plays both 12-centimeter optical discs used for the new system, as well as Nintendo GameCube discs. An additional, and often overlooked, benefit of the Wii is that it uses a fraction of the power of other current gaming consoles on the market, saving energy and money both when it is on and off. Wii MotionPlus Accessory Included Simple. Intuitive. Easy to use. Connect the Wii MotionPlus accessory, included with your bundled copy of Wii Sports Resort, to your Wii Remote controller, included with your Wii, to increase accuracy and enhance play control on compatible games. (Wii MotionPlus must be used with a Wii Remote) Wii MotionPlus contains additional sensors that make the Wii Remote respond to the slightest movement, motion, or twist of the wrist. Along with Wii Sports Resort, the MotionPlus accessory is compatible with a continually growing list of games. Refer to the Wii MotionPlus/Wii Sports Resort packaging, or the Nintendo website for details on the full list of games that are designed for use with Wii MotionPlus. A Channel for Everyone More than just a game machine, Wii also provides a wealth of information and entertainment suitable for every member of the family via its system of on-screen channels. Some of the channels available include: Mii Channel - Miis are cute little caricatures you create to use as characters in a variety of Wii software. Store Miis on your Wii or load them onto your Wii Remote and take them over to a friend’s house to use on their Wii. Everybody Votes Channel * - The Everybody Votes Channel is packed with national and worldwide polls. Answer interesting questions and have your say. Up to six members of your family can vote. You can also participate in Mii contests by creating and judging Miis for a specific contest theme. Nintendo Channel - This is your own interactive guide to what’s new in the world of Nintendo, including trailers, mini-documentaries, product demonstrations, gameplay videos and much more. Wii Remote and Nunchuk Controllers Wii is all about the motion controlled freedom and flexibility of the Wii Remote. No bigger than a small traditional remote control, the wireless Wii Remote is a truly multifunctional device. The magic of the Wii Remote's design lies within; accelerometers inside the controller measure movement in all directions and at all speeds. For example, in the included Wii Sports tennis game, it serves as your racket as you swing away. In driving games it serves as a steering wheel, allowing you to swerve to avoid obstacles or pickup powerups In first-person shooters, it acts as a firearm that you can point directly at an on-screen enemy. The controller also has a force feedback "Rumble" feature and an expansion port for use with accessories, such as the Nunchuck, which adds an analog thumbstick and trigger buttons. The system allows for up to four controllers to be linked at a time and utilizes standard Bluetooth wireless technology. For those who prefer the feel of a traditional controller an adapter is available that fits over the Wii's remote. Key Console Bundle Features Console Bundle Extras - Bundle extras including Wii Sports Resort and the Wii MotionPlus accessory. (Wii Sports is also included) Intuitive Controls - Intuitive controls utilizing the physical motion of the Wii Remote. Up to four Wii Remote controllers can be connected at once using wireless Bluetooth technology. The wireless signal can be detected within 10 meters of the console. Both the Wii Remote and Nunchuk controllers include motion sensors. The Wii Remote controller also includes a speaker, rumble feature and expansion port, and can be used as a pointer within five meters of the screen. Wii Channels - The Wii Menu is the main gateway for a variety of easy-to-use, interactive multimedia, entertainment and communication functions. Memory Expansion and Ports - The Wii console has 512 megabytes of internal flash memory, two USB 2.0 ports and built-in wired and wireless broadband Internet capability. A bay for an SD memory card (sold separately) lets players expand the internal flash memory and launch downloaded games directly from the cards. In addition, the console contains four ports for classic Nintendo GameCube controllers, two slots for Nintendo GameCube Memory Cards and an AV Multi-output port for component, composite or S-video. WiiWare and Virtual Console - Along with games on disc, Wii owners gain access to a world of downloadable games via the WiiWare and Virtual Console game services using purchasable Wii Points. Parental Controls - Wii features easy-to-use parental controls that allow users to manage access to Wii game software based on the ESRB rating, restrict access to various channels, limit the ability of users to send and receive messages or prohibit the use of Wii Points in the Wii Shop Channel. Netflix Movies - Stream movies instantly through you Wii with disc-based Netflix functionality. (Netflix unlimited account, Netflix disc and suitable broadband connection required) Games Included The New Standard in Game Control Wii Sports Resort is an immersive, expansive active-play game that includes a dozen fun resort-themed activities. Key Game Features Wuhu Island has so many things to do, there's never a dull moment. A dozen activities await visitors: Archery, Frisbee, Basketball, Cycling, Canoeing, Power Cruising, Table Tennis, Air Sports, Bowling, Swordplay, Golf and Wakeboarding. The activities use the precision controls of the Wii MotionPlus accessory to help players come much closer to the physical reality of engaging in the actual sports. Every real-world action, whether it's a perfect drive on the fairway or a slice off the course, is meant to be faithfully replicated. Each activity has multiple fun challenges designed to keep visitors coming back for more. Basketball players might compete in a three-point shootout or jump into a three-on-three pickup game. Archery enthusiasts must aim for the bull's-eye across ever-increasing distances and obstacles. Different activities use the Wii Remote and Nunchuk controllers in different ways. For example, players hold the Wii Remote like a paddle in Canoeing, while in Cycling they use both arms to "pedal" with the two controllers. The Wii MotionPlus accessory picks up every nuance of motion and translates it onto the TV screen. Depending on the activity, players can compete solo or against other players. Some activities even let players team up to work cooperatively. A Sports Party in Every Box One of the most popular Wii party games of all time, Wii Sports offers five distinct sports experiences, each using the Wii Remote to provide a natural, intuitive and realistic feel. Players can use their own Mii caricatures in the game and play them against their friends' Miis for a more personalized experience. As players improve, their Miis' skill levels will increase, so that they can see exactly how much better they've become. Key Game Features Tennis (1-4 players): Players grab the Wii Remote like a racket and swing – the game registers forehands, backhands, volleys, lobs, slices, spin and power depending on how fast the user swings and at what angle. Don't worry about moving around the court to get to the ball – the game automatically moves players into position. Baseball (1-2 players): Players grip the Wii Remote like a bat and swat fastballs out of the park, or fire a fastball over the plate with a flick of their wrist. Timing and bat speed will make all the difference between going yard and whiffing, so keep an eye on the ball and swing for the fences. In the two-player game, one player pitches and the other bats – all fielding and running is automatic, so that players can focus on the action. Golf (1-4 players): Step up to the tee, hold the Wii Remote like a golf club and swing naturally to smack the ball onto the green. The harder players swing the club, the farther the ball will fly. Be careful, though – if players swing too hard, their ball will fly out of control, so they should be sure to take some practice swings before going for the pin. After reaching the green, line up putts carefully, practice the stroke and try to hole out. Bowling (1-4 players): Players raise the Wii Remote in their hand just like a bowling ball, and then swing their arms to roll the ball. The speed of the swing and the angle at which they release the ball affects the ball's spin, so it will take some practice to master control over the ball and knock down the pins. Boxing (1-2 players): Using the Nunchuk controller as one glove and the Wii Remote as the other, players dodge, weave and punch their opponents. Players hold their hands high to guard their faces or low to block their torsos. They punch high to hit their opponents' faces or low to get under their guard for a body blow. Swing both arms left or right to sidestep oncoming blows and move into position for a devastating knockout. What's in the Box 1-Nintendo Wii game console (white), 1-Wii Remote controller (white) with Wii remote jacket, 1-Nunchuk controller (white), 1-Wii MotionPlus accessory (white), Wii Sports Resort, the original Wii Sports, 1-wired sensor bar, 1-power cord, 1-standard composite cable, 1-console stand, 1-console manual. * Access to some channels may require your Wii needs to be set up with WiiConnect24.

The Best Wii Family Games For All Ages

Nintendo has done a great job creating a game console that appeals to gamers of all ages, and can be used by both the youngest players (as young as 4!) all the way up to octogenarians.  The Wii console is really easy to install and play, and the games are also developed for a wide spectrum of players.  The top Wii games for kids can really be played by anyone.

Many of the top teen games are also developed for the Wii platform, but where the Wii shines is with Wii family games.

Games like Mario Kart for Wii, Mario Party 8, and the Reader Rabbit series are good choices for the younger set. Parents can play too and even find some of these games pretty challenging!

For preteens, games like LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga, Mario Galaxy 2, Wii Sports Resort and New Super Mario Bros are great fun.  Whether it's Wii games for girls or Wii games for boys, parents can play too, but will they be able to keep up with their kids, that's the question!

As children move into their teens, games like Zelda: Twilight Princess, Super Smash Bros Brawl, and Godzilla Unleashed are more challenging.  At this level, parents will want to decide whether the cartoon violence is something their child is ready for, but generally, it is milder than some of the clearly more mature games like Resident Evil or No More Heroes.

Also, price is always a concern.  You can shop for cheap Wii games at online retailers such as Amazon, where you can find both new and used Wii games.  There are also plenty of excellent games in the $20 price range and Wii sale prices are often available.

Whatever you choose, the Wii platform makes it easy for entire families to play together.

Save Money – Rent Wii Games

Any game console owner knows that the least expensive item is the console itself - it's the games that get really expensive. At $50 for some Wii games, and even more for certain Xbox or other console titles, finding ways to reduce the cost of gaming is something everyone would like to take advantage of. Fortunately, there's a way to play all the games you want for a low monthly fee. Rent Wii games from services like GameFly.

These renting services are based online, and work the same way online movie rental services work. Subscribers can join for a low initial fee to try out the service, and then monthly thereafter, they pay to rent one, two or more games per month. You can keep the game out as long as you want to, and return it when you are finished playing with it. If it's a game you really like, you can keep it and pay a discounted purchase price. It's a great solution for anyone who likes to try out new games without the risk of plunking down a chunk of money for a game that may or may not be any good.

Most of these services rent games for every available console, including the portable games like the Nintendo DSi or Sony PSP. If you want to rent Wii games, for example, you simply select your console type, and then browse the list of all the titles available. You can also search by title. The reason these are so affordable is that for half the price of a single game each month, you can play games over and over. Have you ever had the experience eof buying a title that turned out to be terrible? Of for younger kids, purchasing a game that had way too much violence? By renting first, you can scan the game and decide if it matches what you're looking for.

Another reason renting is a great idea is because you might even beat the game inside of a month - and if you rent it, you just send it back for a different one. You haven't wasted money on a game that you wrapped up quickly. Over time, you can actually save money by not spending the initial outlay on many games.

Finally, when you decide you want to keep a game, with the Gamefly service they will charge you a discounted price to keep it, similar to a used game price at a store or online. In addition, as your subscription ages, you accumulate coupons and discounts on game purchases that really add up. You can own some games for 50% of the retail price. They ship you the case and booklet after you pay for the game.

Considering you can cancel this service at any time, there's really no reason not to try out renting video games. It can save you money and lets you play all the games on the market without spending a fortune to own them.
